Please keep in mind these services only need to be established once, and can subsequently be used for a wide variety of business needs as an online entrepreneur.
And if you already have a service established for one or more pieces of this puzzle, that's fine! We will point out along the way where services are needed/recommended specifically vs being more flexible regarding what is used.
Expert Booking Services
Establishing these services will help you organize and execute your discovery calls and interviews, and store all the information (including the agreement) your experts need to give to you.

What is Zoom, and why do I need it?
Chances are, you probably already have Zoom. This service is #1 for hosting and recording interviews.
What is Jotform, and why do I need it?
Jotform is a free, secure place to host a form that will store your experts' information. This has been key for hundreds of our clients in streamlining the process of gathering not only headshots, bios and free gift information, but dates your experts will be promoting and their agreement to you.
What is Calendly, and why do I need it?
Calendly is the most user-friendly and cost-efficient calendar option we've come across for first time summit hosts (who don't already have a scheduling service). Alternatives include vCita and Acuity. If you anticipating needing more than one appointment type (which most people eventually do), we recommend the Premium Plan.
Summit Staging Services
These services include everything that will be needed to stage and present the summit to your audience. These services include setting up your summit domain, hosting, and email autoresponder.

What is Bluehost, and why do I need it?
Your hosting account is the account that will contain the full summit site itself. Bluehost also provides a free domain with every new account, so we encourage you to take advantage of that. This is so we can use WordPress and OptimizePress for your summit site (which are the best services for this task).
Why do we recommend it over other hosting companies (like GoDaddy, Hostgator, etc)?
After years of working with all the big (and many of the small) hosting companies, we’ve found Bluehost to currently be the most user-friendly and cost-efficient service around.
Where many companies will charge you anywhere from $70-90 a year for an SSL certificate (which is a necessity), Bluehost gives it to you for free with your plan.
Where many companies will also charge you for an entirely separate email service plan for summit-based email accounts, Bluehost also gives this to you for free with your plan.
They also have incredible customer service, and are up to date with the necessary technical requirements we need to make sure your summit site runs smoothly.

What account type is needed?
Please make sure to sign up for the Plus or Choice Plus account for your summit.
What is OptimizePress, and why do I need it?
OptimizePress is a page-builder that governs the technical and design structure of the various pages we will be setting up for your summit. It is a one-time, once-yearly, investment as opposed to similar page-building services like LeadPages (starting at $37 USD/mo) or ClickFunnels (starting at $97 USD/mo). OptimizePress3 is the most affordable and quickly-growing products of its kind. Over 90% of the summits we've run over the past several years have been run through OptimizePress.

What level is needed?
Please make sure to sign up for the Essential plan ($99), which is the lowest level, for your summit.
What is AWeber, and why do I need it?
AWeber is an email marketing service provider that collects and stores email lists, and is one of the most important types of services you'll need for your summit. Other email marketing services include Mailchimp, Infusionsoft and Convertkit.
We recommend Aweber above all other services because it's the most affordable for the highest level of functionality. It not only does an incredible job with summits, it will grow alongside your business as well - allowing you to structure broadcasts, behavior tags, and campaigns in the best possible ways for your business.
What account type is needed?
We recommend signing up for a free account, and upgrading to Pro immediately if you are selling your summit, and a month before your summit begins if you are not.
What is YouTube, and why do I need it?
Youtube is a video hosting site. You need a video service like this to store your summit videos, because they can't be uploaded directly to the summit site without over-taxing it.

What are the pros and cons of using PayPal for my sales?
Pros:
PayPal Business accounts are free
It integrates directly with Aweber
It is accepted everywhere, worldwide, whether people have an account or not
Cons:
Does not provide simple tracking if you are profit sharing with experts
Can be glitchy in its reporting/integrations
Can confuse people on the payment page
Does not connect well to thank you pages

What are the pros and cons of using Moonclerk for my sales?
Pros:
Connects with Stripe (which is a benefit to people who do not like using PayPal)
Helps with tracking sales if you are paying commissions to your experts
Has a very easy-to-use payment/cart interface with high conversion
Connects beautifully with thank you pages
Has incredible back-end sales tracking
Integrates directly with many email marketing services

What are the pros and cons of a summit Facebook Group?
Pros:
Facebook Groups are a great way to communicate with your community directly and socially
It provides a private platform for live elements (like Facebook Live) so you can keep a high level of connection
Experts can answer subscriber questions directly within your community
It helps with subscriber retention
Cons:
It can be time-consuming if you aren't used to social media
Not everyone has Facebook
Why should I survey my list?
Surveying your list is essential to know who they are, what they need, and what they'd like to hear more about. We have had countless clients believe they understood the demographic they had built during the summit only to be surprised after surveying them.
